Join us virtually on Friday, March 29, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. PT for an inspiring WILD Voices panel with design leaders Bev Maeda (YouTube), Ayesha Mathews Wadhwa (Nium), and Natalia Kowaleczko (PACT Studio). As we continue honoring Women’s History Month, we’re excited to spotlight several amazing humans among us. WILD Chair and Independent Design Executive Rachel Gogel will be moderating the conversation.

Together, we’ll explore singular journeys in leadership and design, and delve into imaginative perspectives on the industry. Sharing these speakers’ unique points of view and stories of lived experience drives visibility for new models of creative leadership that expand our collective possibilities. Our goal for our speaker series — WILD Voices — is to feature candid conversations with Bay Area self-identifying women and non-binary design professionals and hear perspectives that continue to amplify our collective power and visibility.

Your Friday evening just got a little bit more interesting… We hope to see you there!

Bev has worn many hats during her 20-plus year career — content design leader, UX lead, localization manager, editor, journalist — spanning a range of companies (Walmart, PayPal, LinkedIn, Spotify). When she’s not leading the WILD Programming Committee of volunteers, she’s at YouTube leading an international team of content designers building great product experiences for creators, artists, and viewers. Ayesha is currently overseeing brand experience at Nium — a global leader in the modern money movement. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Ayesha has 15 years of experience crafting strategy and creative direction for global companies, including VMware Carbon Black, SambaNova AI, Apple, Amazon Lab126, Databricks, Facebook, CapitalOne, The Insight Labs, Riverbed, and The Smithsonian. She also leads the WILD Editorial Committee. Read more about Ayesha in her WILD Portraits feature.

Natalia is a multidisciplinary creative director with 15+ years of experience at the cross-section of branding, design, advertising, and experiential design. Women in Leadership & Design (WILD) is an initiative of AIGA San Francisco. Our mission is to amplify women and non-binary designers’ collective power and visibility. We mobilize and energize impact in design leadership by focusing our work on connecting, elevating, sharing, and educating designers in our community. Often, we do this through events like group meals, speaker series, workshops, meetups, and more. We exist to redesign leadership, together. Learn more about WILD here.

We are committed to keeping events accessible to all participants. As a 501(c)3, we greatly rely on the community’s generosity to help support WILD programs and events. The event ticket fee is $10, while an additional donation would go a long way. Your generosity is very much appreciated. If the ticket cost is a barrier, please contact
