Studio O+A is best known as the designer of groundbreaking workplaces for companies that have changed the way we live—Facebook, Yelp, Uber, Cisco, Nike, McDonald’s and many others. One element of that success is our use of environmental graphics to transform space. The impact of scale on graphic design, the way wall installations pull imagery into three dimensions, the use of color and patterns to mirror rhythms of activity in a room or a succession of rooms—O+A’s in-house graphics team explores these issues every day.

Our design development process for commercial interiors includes graphic design and branding as an integral step in arriving at a story unique to each client. We strongly believe that your workplace is your brand and that graphic design plays a large role in defining it. Office design has come a long way since the logo on a reception desk was the extent of a company’s environmental graphics.
For a look at where our firm thinks these trends are heading—and how we craft brand stories on the ground (and on the wall), join us at O+A’s San Francisco studio for a tour of our space and a talk with our Brand Studio. Refreshments will be served.
