2021 FELLOW
2021 Fellow is awarded in Memory of August de los Reyes (1970-2020) who was a champion for design that is meaningful, inclusive, & humane. With a career spanning 25 years, most recently as the Chief Design Officer at Varo, previously Head of Design at Pinterest and Xbox, Director of User Experience at Google, and worked for Philips Design and Eastman Kodak.
2022 FELLOWS
Steve Jones principal of plantain studio in Oakland an award-winning graphic designer and educator, with over 30 years of experience in professional practice and design education.Designer, builder, educator, founder of the nonprofit Girls Garage. Emily Pilloton-Lam has also taught and worked alongside youth co-designing and building public architecture projects.
Martin Venezky is a designer, artist, and educator specializing in book design and typography. He has also created extensive bodies of work in photography and photographic installation.

Continuum is an award ceremony that recognizes our design heritage and looks to plant seeds for the future of design in our local community. This year’s event is special by kicking off the 40th Anniversary of AIGA SF.
