Join Us for a Community Block Party at the Oakland Museum of California (OMCA)

Hello, amazing community members!

What better way to welcome Fall than by coming together for a delightful Friday Night at OMCA? We're thrilled to invite you to a WILD Meetup at the stunning OMCA Garden. It's the perfect occasion to hang out, make new connections, and enjoy the food trucks, live DJs, and views of Lake Merritt. We plan to grab some food and drinks and meet up in the OMCA garden near the red structure shaped like a V (‘Two Red Lines’ sculpture on The Great Lawn) and then explore the museum.

Event highlights:

🍔 Off the Grid Food Trucks: Indulge your taste buds in a culinary adventure with various food truck vendors present at the event. From savory to sweet, there's something to satisfy every craving.

🌉 Live Music: Enjoy Oakland’s favorite Block party with live music and DJs. Bring a blanket and lounge in our garden, now open with direct access to Lake Merritt.

🗣️ Engaging Conversations: Our previous park gatherings have always sparked engaging and thought-provoking discussions. Let's continue the tradition by sharing stories, ideas, and laughter.

Ticketing and Entry: The event itself is free, but museum access requires a ticket. Limited flat-rate parking for Friday Nights is available in the OMCA Garage for $10. We plan to gather near the ‘Two Red Lines’ sculpture on The Great Lawn.

We're looking forward to celebrating OMCA’s final Friday Night of the season in the garden with all of you. Spread the word, bring your friends and family, and let's make this gathering one to remember!

See you there!
