Join Us for a WILD holiday Gathering at the Girl Gang Craft Fair in Oakland

Hello, amazing community members!

What better way to celebrate the Holidays than by coming together for a delightful Saturday morning at the Girl Gang Craft Fair in Oakland? We're thrilled to invite you to a WILD Meetup at the vibrant gathering of local artisans, beautiful crafts and holiday cheer. Meet at 11:30-1:30 at Lake Merritt, at the Southeast Lawn near Scottish Rite Center (northeast of the Lake Chalet). Join us for a grass gathering BYOB/Lunch. We’ll mosey over to the craft fair around 12:30 as a group and head back to the park when done to chat further and show off our finds???

Note: The craft fair is from 11-5

Girl Gang Craft started when Phoebe Sherman couldn't find affordable events to show her feminist apparel + accessories. She gathered 15 maker friends in a small cafe in Oakland, and that was the first Girl Gang Craft. Since then her shows have grown to include 120 makers and have hosted events all over California. The mission of GGC will strive to create support and community while educating creative entrepreneurs with ways to level up their business (hello accounting, social media + email marketing, brand partnerships and time management) while also pursuing joy and balance.

Event Highlights:

Creative Entrepreneurs: Meet new friends and admire handmade crafts from local artisans.

Holiday Shopping: Get a head start on your holiday shopping and some good old fashioned networking, too. Maybe you’ll meet your next coworker?

BYOF: BYOBrunch/Lunch for grass gathering

Ticketing and Entry: Free entry. See you there!

Women in Leadership & Design (WILD) is an initiative of AIGA San Francisco. Our mission is to amplify women and non-binary designers’ collective power and visibility. We mobilize and energize impact in design leadership by focusing our work on connecting, elevating, sharing, and educating designers in our community. Often, we do this through events like group meals, speaker series, workshops, meetups, and more. We exist to redesign leadership, together. Learn more about WILD here.

We are committed to keeping events accessible to all participants. As a 501(c)3, we greatly rely on the community’s generosity to help support WILD programs and events. The event ticket fee is $5, while an additional donation would go a long way. Your generosity is very much appreciated. If the ticket cost is a barrier, please contact
