Letterform Archive
2325 Third St. Floor 4R
San Francisco, CA 94107
Hello, amazing community members and beyond!
Join WILD as we visit the Letterform Archive in San Francisco! On view at the Archive until June 9th is the Typographic Jazz: The Monoprints of Jack Stauffacher, an exhibition of rarely seen work that explores the iconic Bay Area printer’s playful and improvisational process. Using a mismatched set of 19th-century wood block letters, Stauffacher reimagined type as an abstract form. Curated by Rob Saunders, this show features more than 100 prints, sketches, iterative proofs, and other unpublished explorations, demonstrating the creative potential of letterpress.
We will meet at the entrance to the Archive at 11:00am, head inside as a group by 11:30am, and tour together.

ABOUT US
Women in Leadership & Design (WILD) is an initiative of AIGA San Francisco. Our mission is to amplify women and non-binary designers’ collective power and visibility. We mobilize and energize impact in design leadership by focusing our work on connecting, elevating, sharing, and educating designers in our community. Often, we do this through events like group meals, speaker series, workshops, meetups, and more. We exist to redesign leadership, together. Learn more about WILD here.
SUPPORT US
