D.Talks: Dream Jobs—Seek, Find, Win

SORRY, THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.
D.Talks is an ongoing series of panel discussions presenting practical information about current trends and hot topics in the world of design and business. Our goal is to foster robust dialog and critical thinking, so crowd participation is an integral part of each event.
As the landscape of design continues to expand, designers are faced with more varied career opportunities than ever before. Join us at our first 2011 D.Talks for a lively discussion, focusing on the differences between design shops, in-house studios, freelance environments, and big agencies, to help you determine the ideal creative surroundings that will inspire you to thrive. We’ll also discuss networking, the best job sites, and other strategies to help you uncover and win your dream job.
All D.Talks are open to the public and crowd participation is always encouraged, so come prepared to share your own insights and questions. We hope you’ll leave fully motivated to take the next leap in your career and find the design job of your dreams!

I am interested in attending this event. Would like more information.
Thank you,
Carla
I would like to bring my CCSF Graphic Design class to this event as a way of introducing them to AIGA. If there’s still time to weigh in on discussion topics it would be great to cover something of relevance to new designers seeking employment or freelance work.
