Sustainable Design Bike Tour

This event is one of the “pre-events” leading up to Compostmodern on January 22-23, 2011.
If you enjoy bike riding and are interested in sustainable design and participating in a global effort to bring awareness to address climate change — look no further – this event is for you!
As part of the Global Environmental Work Party, day of action 10.10.10, the design conference committee of Compostmodern is offering a FREE bike tour of sustainable LEED certified architecture in San Francisco.
The tour will start in front of Adobe at 10:30am and will travel throughout San Francisco ending in Golden Gate Park at 1:30pm. During the tour a moderator will educate riders on the sustainable architecture and practices of buildings such as the Academy of Sciences and the Adobe Systems Office. Riders will also receive information on how they might bring some of these sustainable practices into their own work environments.
All participants should bring water and a bicycle. Riders are encouraged to bring a bag lunch to munch on in GG Park and network after the ride.
The day’s activities are part of the Global Environmental Work Party, day of action 10.10.10, organized by 350.org and the San Francisco Chapter of AIGA, Compostmodern 2011 Committee.
This event is FREE! Pre-registration is appreciated. To register sign up either for the Compostmodern Meet Up Group OR email
