D.Talks Case Study: method

To bridge the gap between business and design, AIGA SF is hosting a lunch-time “D.Talks” seminar that will present a design + business case study.
This year we feature method, the home care and personal care products brand. Join us in learning how method works to change “dirty business practices” by designing beautiful products that also happen to be nontoxic and environmentally friendly. We’ll talk about metrics and insights that show the success of design, and in a vernacular that business people will be more likely to understand.
Most companies treat product design like it “ain’t no thang.” At method, they believe product design is a thang. It’s very much a thang. So when they were figuring out how to package our products, they enlisted world-renowned designer Joshua Handy to sculpt some of the finest pieces of recyclable plastic art this side of MoMA. Form, meet function. Function, form. You two play nice.
When registering, please choose from one of three lunch choices:
- Mesquite turkey with smoked bacon
- Chicken Athena
- Waldorf Vermont Cheddar (vegetarian)
