Typography on the Radio: Live From the Left Coast

Join host Angie Coiro of the radio program “Live From the Left Coast” on KKGN-960AM and a panel including the tongue-and-cheek folks from the website Ban Comic Sans, Tom Ingalls, and Stephanie Orma for a discussion on how type affects (or doesn’t affect) our everyday lives. The show’s website also hosts the Live Blog, an online discussion that will run parallel with the show. During the 1 hour segment, Live will post typographic examples and ask listeners to weigh-in on which are good and which are…not so good. Great typographic designs by San Francisco firms MINE™, Volume Inc., and Chen Design (among others) will be on display.

For those tuning in outside the Bay Area, listen online at green960.com(click on Listen Live.) And if you happen to miss the show (what could be more important than type talk on the radio??) you can catch the podcast on lftlc.com as well.
