Kick-off of SF Design Week on June 20th at Pier 27 for a party on the waterfront with the theme of COMMUNITY. Thousands of designers converge on the pier for drinks, conversations and to explore our exhibitions and installations. This year we come together to celebrate design, innovation, community and the actions we can take together to make this world a better place.

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNTS

While we’re still lining up entertainment, artists, vendors and exhibitors, we’re offering Pre-Early Bird Registration for a limited time only. As we start adding our highlights and line-up, ticket prices will go up considerable so don’t wait, get your access to the largest design party in the Bay Area.

Cash bar and scrumptious bites from Off the Grid will be available for purchase. Your ticket gives you entrance to the event, access to the installations and hang with thousands of your design community peers.

Opening Night is a fundraiser for San Francisco Design Week. All ticket proceeds go directly supporting its continued efforts to create community through timely, relevant and impactful design programming in the San Francisco Bay Area.

  • Swiss Designer Adrien Rovero “Shore” Installation presented by PCH and SFDW with the support of Swissnex
  • Marpi Digital Interactive Installation in partnership with Britelite Immersive
  • CommUNITY International Exhibit + Live Auction Over 100 artists from around the world created original artifacts for this years theme. Have fun outbidding your friends and take a limited edition piece home with you!
  • Weaving, Stitching and Coding An exhibition about the intersection of art + tech curated by Christine Duval The exhibit refers to the idea that jacquard loom (tapestry) is the ancestor of the punch cards and ultimately to the binary code (digital and generative work).
