Fuseproject is pleased to host a panel discussion that poses questions related to the current professional climate, particularly as it relates to women pursuing a career in the field of design. This is an important time to share real-world experiences, solutions that we’ve discovered, embrace change and look to the future. To do so, we will assess where we’ve been, where we stand, and what we will strive to accomplish. What are some of the implicit boundaries? In the midst of ongoing progress, how are new paths forged, what are the rules still in place, and which have yet to be established? And how do we find the right balance between our professional and personal lives? We will tackle these questions and more, related to inclusive design, intersectionality and generational perspectives.

Women in various roles and different levels at fuseproject will be here to offer their perspectives and engage with guests to delve further into these themes. The panel includes:

  • Mary Kate Fisher, CFO and COO
  • Qin Li, VP of Design
  • Leah Yetka, Account Director
  • Perris Richter, Senior Strategist
  • Emily Yao, Design Strategist

  • Yves Behar, CEO and Founder of fuseproject will welcome guests and provide insight into the shifting roles that women play in the design profession.

Refreshments and light appetizers will be available, and we encourage guests to enjoy networking and participation in a lively Q&A at the end of the panel.
