Design needs depth, and the deeper the concept, the stronger its grounds. The more relevant of visual aides, the better the design. You must never forget the merits of design: To communicate a message through the means of clarity and organization. Visual Communication is using our power as designers to arrange information in a way that is most effective, rather than arbitrarily placing nonspecific elements.
We are here to tell a story, of information and data, in a way that is visually stimulating and it is up to each individual to opt on how they use that power and for what reactions they are ultimately hunting. Design takes passion and guts. Being fearful means you truly believe “Everything has been done.” Our world is forever changing, bringing with it new inventions to which we adapt. The braver you are, the easier it will be to translate the change for everyone else.
Depth, power, and risk, thrown in with passion and style, this is the fundamental designer. I look forward to utilizing my strengths in editorial and page layout, typography, and concept development, in the design fields of print and publishing. As a professional, I will never cease to learn, given that being a designer means to forever be a student of the times.
This is something I believe is very important to my own career and as I follow my path, I will further develop my theories on visual communication through the trials and tribulations that come of experience.
