Bob Aufuldish

Bob Aufuldish is a partner in Aufuldish & Warinner and a professor at the California College of the Arts (CCA), where he has taught graphic design and typography since 1991. In 1995 he founded Sputnik, the nationally recognized student-staffed design studio that produced work for CCA, and was its design director until the program ended in 2016. He founded Aufuldish & Warinner with partner Kathy Warinner in 1990. With A&W, he has produced work ranging from early digital experiments to annual reports, signing, posters, and typefaces. In recent years his professional practice has focused on publication design for cultural institutions.

His work has been featured in exhibitions at SFMOMA and the International Graphic Design Biennial in Brno, and recognized by AIGA, Communication Arts, Graphis, Print, ID, and the TDC among others. He was elected into the Alliance Graphique Internationale in 2011.

Bob has a BFA and MFA in graphic design from Kent State University, Ohio.
