VP of Creative and UX
Allison was the Vice President of Design at AOL, overseeing all global creative for 30 of its sites to drive significant audience growth and revenue through innovative user experiences and strong brand management. She was instrumental in the growth of AOL’s commerce platform, testing 300 creative solutions each month to drive $500 million revenue/year.
The work of her teams has been recognized by Wired Magazine, HOW Magazine’s “The Strategic Designer,” and given four Webby Honoree awards. Allison served on the board of AIGA for four years, orchestrating a series of design events to inspire creative professionals.
Allison served on the AIGA SF Events Committee as the Volunteer Chair from 1998-2003 (planning events such as the Paper Fashion Show), the AIGA DC Board from 2008-2010 (spearheading programming for a series of “Salon” breakfast meetings with inspirational designers), and the AIGA SF Board from 2010-2012 (as the programming chair for D.Talks). She is incredibly passionate about articulating the business value of design and has a personal mission to help bring this awareness and skill to our community of designers.
