Programming Co-Chair

Cade Peterson is a founding partner of Red & Burgundy, a new communication design firm located here in gorgeous San Francisco. He and his design-partner-in-crime opened this new “adventure” in March of 2008.

Cade aims to offer profoundly meaningful design solutions to his clients, whatever the communication message need may be. Early in his life, he realized that his life was not meant for a career in either as a chemical engineer, or a computer programmer—both of which came easy to him. He has a BFA from Texas State University, a renowned
school in the region, that prizes and pushes “concept” above all else.

Though he accidentally found his way to design, he has never looked back. Fortunately, he didn’t have to switch off one side of his brain when he chose a life of the creative. His knack for the analytical and logical prove to be an indispensable asset when being finding optimal design solutions.

He has always been a very active member, and intends to remain that way for many more years to come. He currently serves as a Programming Chair on the San Francisco board of AIGA, the professional association of design.
