Programming Co-Chair

David once had lofty dreams of becoming an airline pilot, working 2 weeks a month and flying all over the world on a huge pilot salary. Then came the tragedy on 9/11 and the impact it had on the airline industry. Massive layoffs and bankruptcy followed and what seemed like a passionate hobby turned out to be a fulfilling career in communication design.

Moving to San Francisco during the worst of the economic downturn, David landed a job at Voicebox Creative, a strategic branding design firm that specializes in luxury foods and beverages. Now a senior designer, he works on a variety of projects that include redesigning major multi-tiered brands, designing new brands and creating launch materials that promote them to the trade and consumers.

Having volunteered with the AIGAsf Events Committee for over 4 years, David joins Cade and Alex as a Programming Co-Chair.
