About

Amy Hayes Stellhorn

Programming Co-Chair, Silicon Valley

Amy’s greatest passion at work and with AIGA SF is in building high-performing teams. Her first job was on the design team of Critique, a critically acclaimed journal of graphic design. She fast proved her worth as a productive, prolific, thoughtful, creative, and reliable designer. Using her time with Marty Neumeier at Critique as a launchpad, she rapidly matured into a strategic, high-level thinker, and a font of inspired design.

She has won awards at leading publications throughout the country and across all forms of media, and has lectured and critiqued at area universities and colleges. Amy also serves on the board of AIGA SF as the Programming Co-Chair for Silicon Valley, where she works to deliver and highlight the best design thinking in Silicon Valley. Amy has created an environment in the California office where employees learn, grow, eat, and play as hard as they work. To balance out her work life, she spends her spare time at a slower pace – dabbling in food truck culture and loving her husband, son, and two dogs.
